Linux、FreeBSD 的硬碟檢測工具 - smartmontools

Ubuntu Linux、FreeBSD 都可以使用這套檢測工具(smartmontools)來測試硬碟是否有問題.

FreeBSD smartmontools 安裝

  • cd /usr/ports/sysutils/smartmontools; make install

Ubuntu / Debian smartmontools 安裝

  • apt-get install smartmontools

smartmontools 使用

  1. smartctl -a /dev/ad10 # 於 BSD 的操作
  2. smartctl -a -d sat /dev/sda # Linux
  3. 再對照 S.M.A.R.T. 來看是什麼問題, 若 S.M.A.R.T. 看起來是正常的話, 有可能是 cable (連接主機板到硬碟的排線)有問題, 可以換一條試試看.
