Debian Linux 要跟 NTP Server 更新時間，通常會使用 ntpdate，但是最近連接的 NTP Server 常常 timeout 怎麼辦？

ntpdate 安裝與使用

1. apt-get install ntpdate
2. sudo ntpdate -s time.stdtime.gov.tw

遇到 timeout 的問題，可以考慮改用下述：

1. /usr/sbin/ntpdate-debian # 會自動測試各台 NTP Server 到確認更新，可寫入 cron，ex: 0 0 * * * /usr/sbin/ntpdate-debian
2. /sbin/hwclock -w # 再把更新時間寫入 BIOS
