Internet Explorer (IE) 的升級速度緩慢，造成網站開發上很大的困擾，很多方便的技術也無法使用(對 IE8 以下都還需要多做很多事情)。
微軟總算宣布 2016年不再支援
微軟決定於 Windows 10 以後，使用 Spartan 來取代 IE，然後又宣布現有正版 Windows 一定時間內可以免費升級到 Windows 10，希望大家都能盡快升級上去。
